Many pictures of him from the game show him fixated on his phone.
Even when Timberlake was singing right next to him, he was looking at his phone screen.
He has a Snapchat profile.
As a Patriots fan, he watched Tom Brady et al lose to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Why he might not be annoying:

He looks like a preteen version of Timberlake himself!
He upstaged Timberlake in front of 100 million viewers!
He was scheduled to return to Massachusetts the following Monday but probably had to postpone due to media outlets wanting to talk to him.
There was no overlooking he has braces!
Overnight, he gained more than 8,000 followers on his social media accounts.
He has eyelashes many women would envy and pay big bucks (via lash extensions or lash treatments) for.
His picture became a target of memes with captions such as '*posting to Snapchat* ... don't know who I just took a picture with but my mom is going nuts' and 'I thought you said Justin Bieber.'
