In her first season on 'El Club De Los Tigritos,' a few viewers wrote hate mail because she was 'too' black.
She commented that 'Africans' gave Venezuela its rich music, drums, rhythm and dances.
By the second season, she became one of the most popular dancers.
She imitated 'Celia Cruz' as her 'Mini Favorita.'
During one of her performances as 'Celia Cruz,' the real Celia Cruz surprised Lucedis by joining her on stage and singing a duet. Lucedis cried the whole time, but never missed a beat.
Celia Cruz considered Lucedis to be her best, female, imitator.
After the 'Dynamic Duo' (Melissa Dos Santos and Karina Lopez) were made background dancers, Lucedis brought them to front stage by joining them and forming a trio called 'Trio de Oro' (The Golden Trio).
She taught her friends modern African dances and rhythm.
Lucedis does a lot of charitable work.
Her fans call her, 'La Negrita Divina.'
She was an alternate for 'Mini Scary Spice.'
