Why she might be annoying:

She was a has-been by age eight.
She accused Hollywood of discarding her like ‘a piece of rubbish' because there were no suitable adult roles for her.
In old age, she liked to hang out in bars dressed in fifties' styles.
Her death was not made public until 2005 because she thought nobody would care.

Why she might not be annoying:

Though considered plain, she was one of the most memorable ‘Our Gang' kids.
She had a high fashion bob just like Louise Brooks's.
Her engaging line delivery helped ‘Our Gang' make a smooth transition to sound.
Unlike many of her costars, she lived long and was never arrested.
In 1990, Jackie Cooper confessed he had been ‘desperately in love with her.'
She claimed she had only good memories about her time at Hal Roach's studio.
