Why he might be annoying
He allegedly had an affair with his friend O.J. Simpson's wife, Nicole.
He went from playing on the Raiders, to playing for their arch rivals, the Kansas City Chiefs.
Despite having most of his success with the Oakland Raiders, he entered the Hall of Fame as a Chief in spite of Al Davis.
CBS fired him as a football analyst.
During an interview with college teammate Ronnie Lott, Lott said that neither Allen nor Lott would have graduated from college without cheating.
Why he might not be annoying
His brother, Damon is a legend in the CFL.
He was a standout at both quarterback and running back during his high school career.
He was the first person to ever gain over 2,000 yards in a single season in college.
He has been called one of the best short-yardage and goal line running backs of all time.
His career appeared to be going downhill during his final years with the Raiders, but he had a breakout season after signing with the Chiefs. This season gave him the NFL's Comeback Player of the Year Award in 1993.
He introduced Aretha Franklin at a benefit concert for the military.
