Why Dallas, Texas might be annoying
The mother of all grassy knoll fueled conspiracies: the JFK assassination (November 22, 1963).
Some say 'Dallas/Ft. Worth' which pisses both city's residents off to no end.
Its terrain is incredibly flat.
It was home to Bonnie & Clyde and it's where they're buried.
Credit cards (and the huge interest rates that go with them) Mastercard/Visa originated here.
So naturally, it has the most shopping centers per capita in the U.S.
The Dallas Cowboys have lost 3 Superbowls, all in Miami.
So much for backyard BBQ. It has more restaurants and dine-out patrons per capita than any other U.S. city.
It's where a local school teacher created (1987) and filmed 'Barney & Friends' (1992-2002).
The crime rate has been ranked first in the country's largest cities (1 million+ population) from 1998 to 2003.
Why Dallas, Texas might not be annoying
The Southland Ice Company opened the world's first convenience store here, eventually to become 7-Eleven (1927).
The world's first integrated circuit was created by a Texas Instruments' scientist here (September 1958).
It has many computer and telecom companies, earning the nicknames 'Texas' Silicon Valley' and 'Silicon Prairie.'
Architects who have designed buildings for its cityscape include Frank Lloyd Wright and I. M. Pei.
It's home to the world's most famous cheerleaders.
The Dallas Cowboys have won 5 Superbowls.
It has the most watched PBS station in the U.S. and was first to air Monty Python and other British comedies.
