Why he might be annoying
He's a weird-looking blob of fur.
He has a weight problem.
Why he might not be annoying
He's fun-loving, and needs plenty of Vitamin F (fun) just to stave off extinction.
He didn't really need any overdone cartoon exposure on Saturday mornings to get noticed as a pop-culture icon.
He basically 'was' Magic Mountain, along with Bleep (a female Troll), Blip (their infant) and The Wizard, back in the 1970's and well into the early 1980's.
