    Famed for organizing Operation Neptune's Spear, which was responsible for killing Osama Bin Laden (2011)
    He was labeled as a 'terrorist hunter' by some in the media.
    By nature, the military operations he leads are highly secretive, with little-to-no public transperancy or accountability.
    His plan to send Navy SEALS into Bin Laden's Pakistani compound broke the unwritten rule of performing a military action in a sovereign nation without notification.
    As a result of Bin Laden's death, many Americans worried about retaliatory attacks.
    He is responsible for organizing the operation which killed Osama Bin Laden.
    He wrote what many consider to be the book on Special Ops.
    He is a former Navy SEAL.
    Prior to bringing down Bin Laden, he spent years capturing and taking out other Al-Qaeda operatives in Afghanistan and Yemen.
    Defense Secretary Robert Gates had announced he was recommending McRaven for a promotion to four-star admiral status months before Operation Neptune's Spear went down.
    He graduated University of Texas.
    He is known to be highly intelligent, subtle and humble; a contrast from the brash, combative perception of military leaders.
