Musician
    (circa March 11, 1908-May 25, 1965)
    Born in Tallahatchie County, Mississippi
    Birth name was Aleck Ford
Adopted his stepfather's surname to become Aleck 'Rice' Miller
    Blues harmonica player and vocalist
Recorded 'Don't Start Me To Talkin,' 'Fattening Frogs for Snakes,' 'Your Funeral and My Trial,' 'Eyesight to the Blind,' 'One Way Out,' 'Keep It To Yourself,' 'Help Me' and 'Take Your Hands Out Of My Pocket'
He stole the name 'Sonny Boy Williamson' from an already established blues musician.
His year of birth has been listed anywhere from 1899 to 1912.
The earlier birth years may have been intended to support his frequent claims of being the first of the two Sonny Boys.
He set a hotel room on fire trying to cook a rabbit using a coffee percolator.
He reportedly had to cut a European tour short after stabbing a man in a street fight.
He started his career playing alongside Robert Johnson and ended being backed by Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page.
His house in West Memphis burned down (1953).
He was a commanding live performer.
B.B. King said, 'They didn't call him King of the Harmonica for nothing... he blew the blues out of that sucker until there was nothing left to blow.'
