Why he might be annoying
He was in charge of interrogating and torturing U.S. POW's during Operation Desert Storm (1991).
Peter Galbraith who works with Indict, a group that tracks alleged human rights abuses by Iraq said: 'Odai Hussein as head of the Olympic committee has personally directed the torture of athletes who have not done well. He has participated himself in beatings, in amputations.'
Janabi, Odai's former press secretary told ABC's 20/20 that 'Raping is one of his, let me say, hobbies.' He also said he raped girls as young as 12.
One of his security doubles Latif Yahia said 'He loves to hear the woman scream. He loves the rape. He's a sadist.'
It was reported that at the beginning of Desert Storm he went into hiding for his own safety.
He regularly used heroin.
Why he might not be annoying
He owned 1,200 luxury cars.
He was shot and injured during an assassination attempt (1996).
