Basketball Player

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

He was drafted by the Sonics, despite the fact he did no interviews or workouts with the team, as a way to prevent him from going to the Chicago Bulls, who actually did both processes with him.
He spent the prime years of his career on poor teams.
He did not make a playoff appearance between 1994 and 2002.
He primarily served as a backup to Gary Payton during his tenure with the Sonics.
He was out of the NBA for two seasons, when he decided to play one game for the Celtics in order to retire as a member of the team.
He endured massive financial debt after the sports and social club complex he founded proved to be a lot more costly then he initially anticipated.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was considered a basketball legend in the Greater Boston area, as he was a star at Xaverian Brothers Academy, Boston College and the Celtics.
He set an NBA record for consecutive games where he recorded a three-point shot (89 between December 23, 1994 and January 10, 1996).
He established himself as a full-time player upon being traded to the 76ers.
He was the last member of the 76ers to wear #3, prior to Allen Iverson.
He stayed involved in basketball in both coaching and broadcasting.
He had his number 3 retired by the Boston College men's basketball program (2017).
