Why he might be annoying
He was another high ranking executive that was poached from the Baltimore Ravens.
Despite being in a high profile position, he was rarely seen in Cleveland.
His nickname in Cleveland was 'The Invisible GM' as a result of his reclusiveness on the job.
He was hand-picked as the Browns GM by the team's newly appointed head coach, Eric Mangini.
Rather then face the Cleveland media following the Braylon Edwards trade, he had Mangini talk to the media instead.
He took a bad Browns team and made it worse.
Why he might not be annoying
He served on the Browns scouting staff prior to the team's move to Baltimore.
He gradually moved his way up the team's scouting ranks following his internship.
He earned a degree in psychology at Hobart University.
His ability to scout the talent pool and negotiate earned him a general manager's job.
