He was extremely difficult to work with.
He kept every pair of ballet slippers he owned.
His reason why he did not want children: 'What if they were not as good as me? What would I do with those imbeciles?'
He was a terrible actor.
He was very sexually promiscuous and cheated on his boyfriends many times.
He had an affair with Anthony Perkins.
He was superficial and only spent time with other celebrities.
He denied having HIV for years.
He remained in the closet his entire life even though it was obvious to many that he was gay.

Why she might not be annoying:

He struggled with his sexuality his entire life.
He defected to the West and became an international superstar (1961).
He was known as 'the world's greatest male dancer' before he turned 30.
He was closeted primarily because, in the Soviet Union, homosexuality was punished severely.
When he made the highly unusual career choice of appearing on 'The Muppet Show' the publicity was so favorable that it lead to the struggling series achieving worldwide fame.
It also made appearing on 'The Muppet Show' a fad in celebrity circles.
Despite defecting, he was invited back to the Soviet Union by Mikhail Gorbachev (1989).
He died of AIDS complications.
