Alain Delon left her after a six year fling so she married Harry Hauberstock on the rebound (1966). Hauberstock committed suicide a few years later (1975).

Her love affair and two marriages each lasted approximately six years.

Although her death is officially listed as cardiac arrest, it might have been brought on by an overdose of sleeping pills.
