After Scott's death, KRS-One's songs increasingly addressed social and political concerns.
KRS-One founded the Stop the Violence Movement after a fan was killed in a fight at a Public Enemy-BDP concert.
'Criminal Minded' and 'By All Means Necessary' were both named to The Source's list of the 100 greatest rap albums.
