Why he might be annoying
In May of 2000, be bragged to a Hamburg librarian, 'There will be thousands of dead. You will think of me...You will see, in America something is going to happen. There will be many people killed.'
It is believed he was second-in-command of the hijackers behind Mohamed Atta.
He and Atta attended flight training school together in Jupiter, Florida.
In the months before 9/11, he shaved his beard and seemed less religious to colleagues in an attempt to hide his radical beliefs.
Three weeks before 9/11, the Israeli Mossad handed his name over to the C.I.A. as one of 19 names planning an attack in the near future, to no avail.
Three days before the hijacking, he was calmly drinking rum and cokes in a Florida oyster bar, finalizing plans with fellow terrorists.
The night before the hijackings, he and three others were in a Boston hotel room inquiring about hookers, but decided against 'one last hoorah.'
He was a puppet of Osama Bin Laden.
Why he might not be annoying
He spoke fluent English.
Asked why he never laughed, he replied: 'How can you laugh when people are dying in Palestine?'
He spent a lot of money on American goods and services while planning his dirty work.
He was brainwashed into thinking that killing innocents would make him hero and martyr.
He is dead!
