Why they might be annoying:

They were originally called the Rabbits, but players objected to being named after an imported pest.
Until the 1990s, they had a problem with players defecting to professional rugby clubs.
They were favored to win the first World Cup but lost, leading to suggestions that coach Alan Jones was spending too much time on broadcasting and other outside activities (1987).
Their 2007 World Cup jerseys featured a tan panel across the chest that drew comparisons to the 'man bra' from Seinfeld.

Why they might not be annoying:

While touring the British Isles, they won a gold medal at the London Olympics (1908).
They were the first team to win a second World Cup.
Seven team members have been inducted into the International Rugby Hall of Fame.
