Her performance as the nasty, gossiping, greedy and ignorant Mrs Harriet Oleson in the TV series 'Little House on the Prairie' is her only claim to fame.
She is a vegetarian.
She is divorced.
She did not appear in the final feature length episode of Little House, 'The Last Farewell'

Why she might not be annoying:

It was falsely rumored she had cancer and married the doctor who saved her.
She currently lives down the street from her Little House co-star Alison Arngrim, and occasionally teaches drama students.
